The hotel is at easy walkable distance from the train station, and the staff at reception was nice, however the room was a big disappointment. It was boiling hot when I got in, and I immediately closed the radiator. Not good for the environment, and not nice for me either. I tried opening a small window but it wouldn't open. I opened another one, but it was too small to change the temperature, and leaving it open overnight was not an option because of the road noise. The windows are simple glazing with another layer added on top, but that's not good enough to stop the road noise, or hearing cars parking on the gravel at the hotel or their loud music. I could also hear someone snoring in another room so not good sound insulation inside either. Finally the bathroom has a shower with separate hot and cold water knobs and no thermostat, and a sink with the hot water on the right and cold on left, with the knobs turning the opposite way than normal. Oh dear.
I didn't expect luxury. What I wanted was a simple hotel to have a good night sleep, instead I had a bad night sleep in a hotel that tried to look good with a funky decoration.
I didn't try any amenity or breakfast so I can't comment on that.
