"This was my second stay here at Meadow view Cottage. Beautiful garden with a great place to sit at the end to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Plenty of pubs to choose from, a great Indian restaurant (Onion Bhaji) and a great walk from Long Melford to Sudbury along the tree lined disused old railway track."

"We chose the cottage to celebrate the New Year with a group of friends and honestly couldn’t have made a better choice. The cottage is quite spacious and so beautifully decorated (even more beautiful in real life than the pictures - it really feels like you’re in a movie!), and Andrew and David have been wonderful hosts. "This place oozes with charm and character and being able to share such a piece of history with my family was greatly appreciated. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. The manager was very helpful in sorting out a problem with the internet. Lavenham is well worth a visit as is Kentwell Hall. This place does not disappoint."

"What a gem of a hotel, situated right on the harbour with views across the marina.the staff were all so friendly and helpful, happily going above and beyond to provide 'wows'. We only had a standard room, but, in line with the whole hotel, it was beautifully and quirkily furnished, clean and well appointed. So lovely also to be served a top quality breakfast, without self service at a buffet. Not cheap, but highly recommended. Overall probably the best hotel experience I have had! We have no plans to visit Ipswich again, but I'd love to be able to move this place around to wherever I plan to visit. "
