The hotel is great. Very clean and has an elevated contemporary feel for the price. Check in was phenomenal with a special shout out to Sam, who was fantastic. We ate in the restaurant and although the food was excellent and the staff really lovely, it was clear that they were very short staffed, as it took ages to order, I waited 30 minutes for my drink, and the food took a very long time to arrive. We had a wonderful welcome back from Mihal, when we arrived early and left our luggage. And then at check-in, we were greeted by the amazing Simona and her colleague, Fiona, who were so friendly and helpful - a pleasure to meet and chat to. Our room was wonderful - huge and comfortable bed, espresso machine, very clean and we were very happy to have a fridge, too. Only area for improvement would be to have had drinks and snacks in the fridge that are suitable for vegans, but we weren’t expecting...

Loved our stay at Colson House. We haven't been back in 12 years, and it's still as lovely as ever. John was very friendly and welcoming. Great location, the hotel is beautifully decorated.

Lovely modern hotel just a few steps from the seafront & approx 10 min walk to the main station. NCP parking opposite - ask hotel for a discount code as a waitress told us one was available (but we had used the train so didn't enquire any further) Spacious modern rooms, comfy beds, very nice bathroom with a fab, huge walk in shower.
