This guesthouse was perfect in every way. The single room was a little on the small side, but I expected that, and it was immaculate. By which, I mean spotless and without fault. Keith, who welcomed me to the A&V was the perfect host, and when I had to be up earlier than normal for Eastbourne Extreme I was attending, he cooked breakfast earlier so I wouldn't miss out. Basically, everything I wanted, I got with a smile. And it is 100 feet from the beach. I'm sure there are other places in...

Lovely one night stay whilst visiting for the tennis. Room was spacious, clean and with comfy beds. Good WiFi. Great breakfast. Very pretty front garden with colourful flowers and B&B had been themed with tennis balls especially for the event. Being a bit further out means more walking but easily doable and it meant parking on local streets was free. Would visit again.

We have just had a two night stay at The View Hotel. Its location was fantastic for us as we were going to 2 gigs a few minutes walk away. Could not find a fault with this hotel at all. All the staff were very polite and attentive and the breakfast was very good and set you up nicely for the day. The hotel was very close to the seafront but was situated down a side road so was very quiet at night.I will not hesitate to book The Sheldon on any future visits to Eastbourne.
