"We used this a base for the beachyhead marathon. Was perfect for our needs.
No lift though so expect to be tackling multiple flights of stairs through the labyrinthine property.
It was very reasonably priced for location. Though that does translate to the amenities, but if you are looking for a short stay budget option with a bar open 24 hours for guests and 24 acess to pizza, its a great shout and will save you a few quid.
Its about 5 or 10 minutes from some excellent local pubs....

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. On arrival, I was made to feel welcome and the hotel policies explained in a friendly manner including the WiFi password.
The room was cleaned during my stay and there were complimentary amenities left in reception for guests outside of normal hours . This was a nice touch to be able to get extra milk for coffee late at night.
Lovely friendly staff ,and great security . The location of the property is excellent. I would return again ."
