"The biggest let down with this property is the extortionate price of the car park that is recommended on their website just down the road at Southgate Car Park…….almost £30 for 24 hours!!!! Would definitely put you off booking this hotel, even though the location is excellent!"

"Check in was a mess. I was told I had to wait a bit for the room. I was given specific times the room would be ready. I then would go back up to the counter to be told it was still not ready, and again, still not ready. Really wasted time telling me 10 mins, 15 more minutes, then watched a lot of people check in and they were all given their rooms. After an hour I had my room finally. If I knew it’d be that way, I would have been able to leave my bags and get dinner. But I was being told over and over, just a few more minutes. I’ve stayed here before and it was really disappointed in the staff, not just at check in."

"Calm oasis from bustle of Bristol city centre. Welcoming front desk staff, attractive building and lobby area. Rooms are spacious and clean (Deluxe twin). All areas well maintained. Plenty of parking under hotel, definite plus for Bristol city centre hotel. 4* review (not 5*) due to only one lift working in one of the buildings, and multiple times had to wait several 'turns' as full with housekeeping staff and their laundry bins or equipment, guests were left waiting, not an issue if no bags bags and able to use stairs, but frustrating if that is the case. We were woken on one night by fire alarm and evacuation at 4.30am. It was for genuine reason, however the two staff on duty that we saw did seem to struggle with updating and organising guests to evacuation points. Front desk staff next morning had been briefed and gave an apology and explanation. Toilets on LG floor need more attention towards end of day as they were not the cleanest."
