"We had a good sized apartment which had cooking facilities and a fridge. The bed was really big and comfortable. No issues apart from the fact that they weren’t open on Monday. The bathroom sink was too small and the overhanging cupboard made it difficult to avoid hitting your head when washing your face! Getting the shower temperature right was a challenge and disappointing that it was in the slippery bath and not separate. Staff we met at breakfast were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast...

"Lovely location. We were given a room in the courtyard, nicely decorated with simple furnishings. Tea,coffee and milk provided but no bottled water, which would usually be expected. "Staff were superb and food was as excellent as always. Bar furniture looks a little dated and could use a deep clean in places, but very comfortable. Bed was superb and the room excellent. The underfloor heating takes ages to warm the room and as it was very cold, it would have been nicer if it had been turned up a while before arrival. Minor points though. Overall extremely good and we will certainly be back."

"I was put in a room with 3 single beds. I tried all 3 and they were all extremely uncomfortable. The room is very run down and dirty. The bathroom was cold as the heating didn't work and the shower does not have enough power to have a decent shower. All in all it was an awful experience"

"I really enjoyed my stay at this extraordinarily good-value, squeaky-clean, well-located hotel. I was in Norwich for work (I'm an actor appearing in a show there) and I booked a single room with breakfast. I called the hotel to explain that I would have to pick up my keys early, and the very helpful Hamid on reception said that was fine. When I got to the hotel about 2 hours before the usual check in time, Hamid had a lovely room ready for me- a triple! Not the single I had booked. Spacious, nice bathroom, biscuits etc. The continental breakfast too was definitely a cut above the rest for the very reasonable price. I will stay again if I'm in Norwich, and have recommended to others."
