Clean room, very helpful staff and the food was amazing and plenty of parking..

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

This was a quick overnight stay on the drive back from Cornwall. The off-street parking and affordability were key in our purchase. Our room was clean and spacious, staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious.

Although the hotel was situated on a dual carriageway the rooms were quiet, clean, spacious and comfortable. We were particularly pleased to have air conditioning in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful even under such strange circumstances. The food was good with generous portions.

I booked a room for a Monday and Tuesday night as a treat for my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. I wanted somewhere special and the Hotel delivered it for me. This was a home from home. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. After a 3.5 day drive from Corfu to walk through the doors of a friendly Great British hostelry was simply the best experience. Spacious accommodation in the Flat, plenty of room to unwind with my two dogs who were a little wound up after the long drive. A good nights sleep and the ability to run off steam in the field opposite, we all left relaxed and chilled. Pub grub was fabulous too! As I couldn’t stay for breakfast...

A really good value B&B for the area. About 20 mins from Oakhampton in a tiny village. 2 good walks (4 and 8km for hikers), and excellent beer, wines and food in the evening. Breakfast was top class. Will come again.
