"Easy to find with ample parking on site and near to the entrance. A wonderful lobby area with the restaurant to the right and checking in immediately to your left. On checking in, I was told that breakfast was not booked with the stay which I queried and then had to prove via the original booking confirmation that it was booked with it. Next issue was the air-con unit. Although it wasn't a hot day, it was very humid which warmed up the room to make it uncomfortable. The unit displayed a message...

"This was by far one of the best stately manor/Halls we have stayed at, The House is breathtaking and spacious, free parking and breakfast was included in the Price. The fine dining was excellent but pricey, Therr was a cheaper option in the lounge bar. Drinks expensive but well worth it for the experience.

and hydra pools not included but was very nice. The best thing about the hotel were the staff. Polite, helpful and attentive, by far the best service we have had in a long while....

"Has a feeling of space especially with golf course. A country hotel. Good facilities- swimming pool , Turkish bath, sauna (at minute jacuzzi not working). WiFi good and TV with freeview channels. Nice bathroom with tub. Did not eat at hotel - walked to an Indian restaurant at the edge of the driveway to the hotel. There is now a coffee shop next to the Indian as well. "

"Really attentive and friendly staff that are used to young children. Swimming pool was not that large so with 2 kids it's best not to go when it's busy. Nice sauna and jacuzzi, staff are on hand to provide you towels or help if you have any queries. Large breakfast selection to choose from which helps with our kids being somewhat picky."

"Enjoyed our stay. Stayed for 2 nights and made the most out of the pool, jacuzzi and sauna, except the sauna wasn’t working on the last morning. Food could have been better but ok. The kids loved the pool, staff are very friendly and polite. We received a free breakfast too. Thanks "
