Amazing

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff. Food was great in both the main restaurant and Schisto (tasting menu). Wine tasting at their vineyard was informative snd fun.

Such a gorgeous B&B with amazing views! Our room was separated from the main house, which gave privacy but still with the homely feel. Hosts were amazing and truely made you feel right at home. We also even managed to go for a dip in the pool between the August rain!

Fabulous hotel - almost Belmond but not quite. Rooms are excellent (must comfortable beds with down pillows). Breakfast is superb. Pool service a bit sporadic but overall the staff were wonderful.

A small bolt hole, 4 rooms as part of a working winery hidden well off the beaten track. Great staff & simple meals with local wine make it a relaxing place to stay. You can tour the vineyard and winery or simply relax by the pool but it’s definitely a place to recharge your batteries. The bed was comfortable, linen and towels good. Nice lavender toiletries provided and a fabulous marble bathroom which has given me some ideas ;) Be aware: the drive down to the house is a challenge (we did it...

Beautiful, new stylish and clean room

We loved our stay at Quinta da Moita. The property looks pristine, the owner and staff are super nice and helpful. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!

Perfect hotel to relax and enjoy as a couple, especially when using the spa facilities. The staff was amazing and making sure we were having a nice stay. The breakfast buffet was really worth it.

The location is amazing with spectacular views down the river. So peaceful and quiet. The room was very clean and the attention to detail was great. Breakfast was served in the room and was a real treat. Service was friendly. A couple of minor things that it is worth knowing about if you visit. Hotels.com still say they take credit cards but they do not. Parking is off street. It's safe and plenty of it but it is not on site and a short walk up a hill. Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay.

Wonderful setting looking out over the Douro Valley with brilliant care of the 16 guests by the team - led by the unique and amazing Bernardo. Huge thanks for a magical stay - it was the highlight of our trip!

What an amazing place, with a magnificent view. Friendly and welcoming personnel. Breakfast was very good and served in the room - bread still warm. This is highly recommended.
