Good sized space for a family of four

The property is in excellent condition and superbly located near to all the sites of historic Porto. Communications were very clear from the outset and we could not have hoped for a better city break. I would thoroughly recommend the property to others. ( Assuming they are physically fit enough to get around the very steep hills which form an essential part of the character of the old city ).

Our apartment was very modern, clean, comfortable and well equipped. More than we needed! We didn’t eat in the apartment at all as there are so many great restaurants & cafes nearby. The location was really excellent. In fact we had the best meal EVER at Tasco - just across the road!

Great place, friendly staff

If you’re coming to Porto, this is definitely the place to stay! The location right by the river is absolutely beautiful. The place itself was much bigger than we anticipated, was clean and well stocked. The communication with our host was faultless. They sent detailed check in instructions including a video of where the property was. They were very accommodating and friendly. We would recommend to anyone 10/10

It's always a slight worry that the property images won't live up to the reality - no such problems here. The apartment is exactly as shown - tastefully decorated and with all the extra space that comes with an apartment instead of a hotel room. Lovely bathroom too with a great shower. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but everything you need is available in the kitchen area of the apartment if you want to cook for yourself or make a snack. It's in a nice neighbourhood with lots of...

From the moment we made our booking to the very end of our stay, the team at VC Heritage Ribeira couldn’t have done enough for us. The location really is a hidden gem, right in the heart of the Ribeira, just a stone’s throw from the most beautiful restaurants, bars, stunning river views and the fabulous Dom Luís I Bridge. It’s the perfect location for exploring Porto, with everything right on your doorstep. Everyone we met was incredibly friendly, welcoming and always willing to help. A very...

Just spent 5 nights here. Hired the 2 bed 2 bathroom garden apartment. Had a fantastic stay. The host Alexandra was super friendly ☺️ The apartment itself is situated in a lovely little square. The metro is literally outside however we chose to walk the majority of the time. It takes approx 30 minutes to reach the harbour however you reach the first set of shops in 15/20 minutes. We did however take the metro to Matosinhos beach. The apartment itself was huge. It could do with a little...

The Baumhaus appartment was fantastic. The elegant entrance hallway leads you to the airy garden with the amazing tree. Our room, Emmerico, was on the top floor and had a fabulous balcony overlooking the garden and the city. The room was airy, well lit, plenty of space and very clean with a comfortable bed and seating. The little kitchen was perfect for a city break. We had a late check in, after normal working hours, and the instructions with pictures and videos on how to enter the building was...

What a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful new apartments with glorious views of Ribeira across the river. If you want to feel romantic then just stay here. Wake up open the curtains and just take it all in. Absolute Perfection. Make sure you hire bikes (and/or bike tour) and explore the coastline either side of the river. Do a port tasting tour (Taylors v good), eat sardines anywhere and they will be sensational and ensure you visit the lovely Afaruda fishing village.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was well equipped (coffee machine, freezer, washing machine and dishwasher were all nice additions I wasn’t necessarily expecting), in a good location close to 2 x subway stations and large supermarket, excellent communication from host pre and during our stay as we required.

Lovely apartment. Very secure and had all the amenities that we required. A kitchen to cook, washing machine and dishwasher. rooms were really clean and lovely. Great toilet/bathroom and air con was a great bonus for the heatwave. Close metro station which was a big plus for helping to explore the city and beyond.

Amazing location, wonderful amenities & comfy bed. Host was very helpful and provided all the details I needed for a relaxing stay. Would come back again 100%.

Clean room, quiet overnight

Couldn't have asked for a better apartment to stay during my trip to Porto. The apartment was clean, spacious, modern and had everything you needed. The duplex style allowed for a welcome separation of area with bedroom and bathroom on the top floor (entrance) and kitchen/living room downstairs. Both floor have a separate Aircon system which meant the entire apartment was cool from the heat. The downstairs floor is ground level and can be seen into from the street if curtains/blinds aren't...

The apartment was fantastic, clean and spacious it has everything you need in the kitchen. The metro is right outside, Bolhao market is opposite and bars, shops and restaurants just a very short walk away. Despite being so near everything it was very quiet, excellent sound proofing so we slept well too! We would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

Very good stay. Friendly and helpful. Good location. Only criticism bedroom bit small and no plug sensibly located for kettle and toaster!!

A spacious flat, well furnished and comfortable flat in a great location.

A spacious property would like to return again with extended family group. Great facilities, kitchen was well equipped could easily cater for group. Good communication from owners always helpful. Not in the main historical district but had plenty of places to buy food or eat also easy and cheap to get transport. View of football stadium.

One of my favourite places that I’ve ever stayed. The staff were wonderful. The views and location are amazing and the apartment was very comfortable. We had a lovely stay and would love to return.
