Hotel within a gorgeous setting surrounded by vineyards and a great view of the Douro valley the food was also very good although the restaurant must add salads to their menu! I wish I had spent at least 3 days here just relaxing !!!

This is a gorgeous remote hotel with breathtaking views of the Douro valley. It is beautiful and modern and the room was exceptional. We particularly enjoyed the wine making tour and tasting. Would highly recommend for a relaxing getaway to the Douro region.

Beautiful location! The hotel room itself is a little older and there was no robes or ironing board, just the basics. Bed was a little hard but for one night it was fine. I wouldn’t stay longer than 2 nights.

Wow! Simply wow. Each morning over coffee I marvelled at the view. Service was wonderful, room was great (though a bit dark). We loved it so much we stayed an extra day. Definitely do a tour of their vineyard/winery and try their Port.
