"The menu in Brasserie Blanc had a good choice and the food was very well prepared and tasty. The BB staff were very pleasant and courteous both at dinner and at breakfast. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was very comfortably with excellent views of the sea and pier. It was very handy that the West Cliff lift is straight outside the front door of the hotel. It made an interesting route to the beach promenade."

"Before booking, we had been very confused as to whether we would be able to have an evening meeal on a Sunday night - the hotel website suggests not. We phoned them to be told we could, and in the event we had a splendid dinner in the fairly new-looking conservatory area. Service was superb, including immediate replacement of non-working salt and pepper mills. Breakfast was also great. Our room was very comfortable, albeit a little too warm overnight until we opened the window, at which point it was unavoidably gusty, thanks to the strong wind. Only minus point - no soap in the bathroom; we didn't say anything about this as we had some of our own. "

"We came for a night on the way to Peppa Pig World (30 min drive away) and it had everything we needed and more. The kids loved the pool and the grounds. It was a 20 min walk from the beach but there was a supermarket/other shops just across the road. The room was a bargain, and had the basics you would need for a night's stay. Plenty of room for the kids (family room - 1 double and 2 singles.) The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was nice."
