Hampton by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

10/10 Excellent

"This is our second stay at this hotel which is within walking distance to the airport. A $6 bus ride from Edinburgh city center drops you near this hotel. Clean, well run, comfortable. Great place to stay the night before a flight."

DoubleTree by Hilton Edinburgh Airport

8/10 Good

"The location to the Airport is great, either a walk if you feel like it, or a free shuttle bus. The staff are good and helpful, the room was clean and big enough. The restaurant food was... ok, it was well presented, cooked well, however it was VERY salty. far too much salt that instead of enhancing the taste it overtook it."

Novotel Edinburgh Park

10/10 Excellent

"The room was spotless and spacious. The shower room was again very clean and modern. The welcome from the staff on arrival and at breakfast was very friendly and the hotel was only a couple of minutes walk from the tram to airport or city centre."

Moxy Edinburgh Airport

8/10 Good

"Room was clean, some black mold on the doorframe in the bathroom. Only first 4 hours of parking was free. Cleaning staff were quite friendly, Check in staff seemed quite young and could have been a bit more professional. Was a great location to the airport, walkable with luggage."

Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG

8/10 Good

"Great location to catch city transit, bus was right outside the door very convenient."

Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh

8/10 Good

"Overall, I was satisfied with my stay, except for a very disturbing incident that happened shortly before checkout, at around 10 a.m. The cleaner came to my room twice. The first time, he opened the door and walked in. I immediately told him to leave. A little while later, he came into my room again. I told him three times not to enter, but he ignored me and insisted on coming in anyway. After seeing me naked, he left the door open and did not leave the room. Instead, he stood there staring at my naked body. He also kept trying to engage me in conversation, seemingly to delay leaving the room, while looking me up and down and staring at my body. The cleaner was a man. His behaviour made me feel extremely uncomfortable, humiliated and violated. I felt that my privacy had been seriously invaded, especially as I had clearly told him several times not to enter my room. At first, I considered letting the incident go, as the rest of my stay had been satisfactory. However, I ultimately felt that this behaviour was completely unacceptable and that I needed to speak up about it. I sincerely hope the hotel takes this complaint seriously and investigates the incident. No guest should ever have to experience this kind of behaviour, especially in the privacy of their own hotel room."

Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club

8/10 Good

"The hotel rooms are a little aged, however staff and outer property are amazing."

Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket

8/10 Good

"Elevator traffic is chaotic, beware of rush hours. It feels they shut down few elevators through out the day . Amazing location. Great pubs, restaurants and coffee shops nearby ."

Sheraton Grand Hotel & Spa, Edinburgh

8/10 Good

"Ideal hotel for any concerts at Usher Hall. Breakfast was very nice as was the evening nibbles and wine included in our room price. Staff at both these eating times were lovely and went out of their way to look after us. The disappointment was in the room. My husband found a pair of paper pants in one pocket of his robe and the empty packet for them in the other- this made as feel that the robe had not been washed. In addition to this there was one packet of shortbread for the two of us and the hanky box only has a few hankies. We did report the robe as felt this really was unacceptable. We were given an apology. Would we return? Not very sure we would given the robe scenario and response."
