Room had broken window latch so window wouldn’t shut. The security hasp (locking bar) on the door to the room was broken (clearly had been forced in some way) so didn’t feel very secure. Small town but close to Cornhill Castle were we were going to a wedding. Had a few local shops and other small hotels restaurants and pubs. One we visited even had a live folk band on which was brilliant.

We only stayed one night as we’re there for a wedding so didn’t see Biggar but over all for bed and breakfast was amazing value and choice for breakfast was great
