I was delighted when I arrived at Ocean View House. Everything, from the drive in to the room and hotel facilities, was lovely and far exceeded my expectations. I was very sorry to be staying for only one night at the end of my 3 weeks in South Africa. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome and special as one of their guests. Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.

A beautiful property overlooking the sea. We really loved staying here. Very clean and good breakfast. Staff were very helpful. The beds were very comfortable. I would recommend staying here for the views, whales, walks and just relaxing.

This was the second time we stayed in this lovely guest house. Pat, Mike and Nick are very friendly and hospitable. The location is great. We enjoyed walking along the walkway to Muizenberg or to the restaurants in Kalk Bay. The breakfast is also excellent, with a variety of fruit, cheeses and yoghurts, as well as a cooked breakfast to order. We would definitely stay there again.

A great exprience two safari drives each day with good accomodation. The meals were fantastic too and the staff very helpful. The rangers on the game drives were very knowlegable, enthusiastic and helpful. Altogether a great few days.

I have stayed in 3 hotels during my trip to Cape Town this time and this is the best accommodation I have had. Everything from the welcome from Wayne, the assistant manager, the property itself, the view to all the staff that we have encountered etc. this place is truly excellent and I look forward to staying longer the next time I’m in the country!

We had a week here and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is a great place to stay within an easy walk of the V&A Waterfront and all it has to offer. The rooms are very modern, clean and comfortable. The Owner (Daniel) and all the staff are really helpful and friendly. Daniel organised a number of trips and taxis for us, all with a really professional company, which were all really good. The Hotel's facilities were great and the pool area was modern and a really relaxing area for chilling out...

Based in Milnerton near to MiCity Bus Stop which has a fast service beween Table View and the centre of Cape Town. Very much home from home with a very friendly and helpful owners. Room was comfortable, stylish and spacious, and breakfasts were plentiful. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely villa in a safe, quiet convenient part of Cape Town. The property is clean and well maintained with friendly staff who make you feel at home. It is close to a supermarket and lots of dining options only five minutes walk.

The staff made such a fuss of us it was our 50th wedding anniversary and they could not of done more to make it special for us The lovely young man on reception upgraded our room and gave us a great gin and tonic and the customer relations lady was lovely and Abby our waitress in the gannet restaurant all looked after us fantastically they are à credit to the hotel When we got to our lovely heritage room there was a bottle of bubbly waiting for us And when we went to dinner in the gannet...

Hotel was great, room size was generous and all amenities were available. The receptionist gave us an early check in as our flight arrived in the morning. Infact all the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. The Knife restaurant serves excellent steaks at a very good price.
