"We stayed here a few nights to visit Edinburgh in festival month. The owner is very welcoming and friendly; but the standard is disappointing by today's standards. A dog seemed to have stayed in the room before us (she takes pets) which needed more thorough airing and cleaning. The room had a slightly tired feeling. The setting is lovely and it is handy for Edinburgh - 30 mins by car and a good train service from nearby Linlithgow."

"I stayed in the Courtroom and was pleasantly surprised with how comfy the beds were. Bathrooms were clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also delicious, and I liked the option of pre-ordering it through their guest portal to save a few ££. Would recommend!"

"Great Location & Excellent Breakfast I had a pleasant stay at Hotel IBIS in Edinburgh. The best part of the hotel is definitely its central location—perfect for exploring the city on foot. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of fresh Food options."
