We only stayed for the one night but we will definitely be returning. The owner/staff are lovely, the room and amenities were superb and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had, cooked perfectly and it just tasted lovely. Can’t recommend this place enough. Hastings Old Town is a great little place too.

I loved my stay here and would definitely return. We had room 1 which was stunning and featured a roll top bath. The huge bay windows gave a beautiful view of nature. The weather had been very hot but with the aircon and giant bed, I slept like a log!! The staff were all very helpful and breakfast was yum.

Fabulous characterful farm house with a friendly welcome. Great facilities with guest lounge and easy parking. Very comfortable and spacious bedrooms. Rivals the best breakfast available in the country.

Probably the most quirky place I have stayed, ( except Frog Manor in Cheshire which I think is now closed ) fab relaxed atmosphere, great English wines, the staff are very helpful 👍

The room was absolutely gorgeous, so spacious and clean! We arrived and had two smoothies waiting for us and we were asked before arriving what milk we’d like for our coffees/tea. I loved that there was a coffee machine in the room, as well as a selection of teas to have. There was also a hand written note on the desk for when we arrived too. Absolutely will stay here again!

Absolutely stunning property for those who like a bit of history. Host was so accommodating to our needs. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and we felt so relaxed making the most of the roll top bath. Breakfast was top drawer (loved the sausages especially). Nothing to fault. We’re already booked in for next year!

Wonderful inn, amazing food, gorgeous room. Everything spotlessly clean. Super friendly staff. The whole experience was magical. Breakfast was stunning. Cant write a single bad thing, because this place and people are just so perfect.

Only stayed one night before getting the early eurotunnel. We arrived quite late but all of the staff were so accommodating and friendly and we managed to get some lovely food despite the time. The room was beautiful and rustic only downside is that because we were leaving early we felt we had to be so so quiet as the rooms felt so intimate.s

Our stay at the Stables Courtyard rooms was excellent. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by the wonderful staff in all areas of the property. The reception staff were very polite and friendly, and gave us all the information we needed for our stay and our wristbands for free entry to the Castle and grounds. The decor of pub is stunning and the staff very attentive,also the breakfast very good and plenty choices. Cross the road is woods with footpaths where i had a good walk is also a garden centre near by where i found beautiful gifts.exellent weekend trip for me.❤

This is a truly charming and welcoming place. We arrived in the very early hours, almost at dawn, having flown in to Gatwick on a slightly delayed flight. Booked in advance and having contacted the owner they arranged everything perfectly for us, including adding an extra bed which was made up in advance and looked very cosy. Stayed for one night at the George in Rye. Right in the centre of town and convenient for browsing the local shops. Stayed in Room 3 which was absolutely gorgeous. The general décor of the hotel is beautiful and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Had our evening meal there - quite pricey but enjoyable with good service. Breakfast (included in room price) was equally enjoyable but no sign of any toast! I'm sure if we'd asked it would have been provided though. Only downside was no...
