This is the nicest European hotel we have ever stayed in. The building is fabulous, really nicely converted with lots of thoughtful design choices. The rooms are lovely, beds super comfy, nice big fluffy towels. Good sized space for a family of four

A great place to stay when visiting Porto! The staff were very helpful from check in to check out, the hotel is very located when going around the city and overall great value for money. Would definitely stay here again the next time I come to Porto!

It's always a slight worry that the property images won't live up to the reality - no such problems here. The apartment is exactly as shown - tastefully decorated and with all the extra space that comes with an apartment instead of a hotel room. Lovely bathroom too with a great shower. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby but everything you need is available in the kitchen area of the apartment if you want to cook for yourself or make a snack. We stayed in the apartment block, room 4 at the rear—really quiet, which was ideal. Situated between Sao Bento and the riverside, it's the perfect place to explore this great city.

This property was set in a rural hillside offering views of the Valpedre valley. Not only is this a sophisticated hotel but the property boasts fantastic facilities for all ages. The staff, especially the Manager André were super friendly and nothing was a bother. André was forever checking in with us to see how we were and if there was anything he could do for us. The hotel has a spectacular position overlooking the river and historical centre of Porto. Service was excellent and not overbearing. Breakfast and dining generally were high quality. The outside pool area is lovely. You can walk down to the river direct from the hotel, where there are a lot of bars and restaurants - it is however quite a steep path, so perhaps not suitable for all. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a beautiful boutique hotel well placed on Porto for sightseeing . We had a suite which was fantastic . The staff are superb so friendly helpful and very enthusiastic . The breakfast was very good with excellent service . Would most definitely recommend

A week's holiday. Visited the city's tourist spots, all walkable. Visited Taylors port...worth a visit. Also train to Braga. See Bom Jesus. Also Foz.....10 mins on 500 bus, or 15 mins on Tram 1.

My sister and I stayed for 3 nights and loved every minute. We had a huge room which opened onto the garden. Quiet and very comfortable. The house has been renovated with real style and flare, but also retains it's original features . We loved the character and quirkiness of the place. We walked everywhere (to justify the enormous amount of eating and drinking we did!). It's about 10 minutes walk to the top of the old town and the same down to the river.
