Just returned from a great week at Hotel Solverde Wellness & Spa. Food was very good, breakfast choice was plentiful. Ate in restaurant twice, both the buffet and A la carte were of high quality. Staff were attentive and mostly helpful . Pool is freshwater but always clean and a good size, always plenty of sunbeds whatever time of day. Hotel in perfect location for Porto and the wedding venue we were attending. Room was cleaned daily, only slight criticism is that beds were a bit hard. Dont let that put you off as I would definitely stay there again in the future

The location was awesome. The customer service was excellent and they were responsive. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was great.

Everything was great about staying in this hotel. The breakfast a lot stuff to eat and everything very clean.The great thing about it is close to everything. Great pool etc. 👍😊

Cons 1. Hairdryer was jammed when we checked in & the head had to be replaced as it was inoperable due to hair jammed into the head of the hairdryer. 2. The website says air-conditioned rooms but staff informed they are air cooled.The first night was very sweaty & uncomfortable to get sleep. Staff asked us to open the window for ventilation.This wasn't an option as this overlooks a highway & lot of traffic noise. 3. The hotel is located in Gais & requires Bolt & Uber for any Porto related activities. 4. Lugging heavy suitcases even with wheels is a pain as the drop-off is on the main road & have to drag the bags over a gravel path. A side entrance or paved path would be good.Waiting for Uber / Bolt is a pain if the weather is scorching hot, as we experienced very high temperatures. Pros 1. Staff are attentive.When we escalated the air-conditioner issue, they finally had someone service it & we could continue to sleep well for the remaining 2 night. Ditto the hair dryer issue though disgusting was resolved by sending a technician.But these should have been checked rather than inconveniencing guests! 2.Located close to a mall - Arabidda Shopping so lots of options to eat & shop. 3. A hospital is close by so the hotel is for medical stays. 4. The hotel is clean and tidy & checking in & out was effortless. 5. Marcus, Ines with specs among other staff were supportive. 6. Room was decent size for 3 beds and the bathroom was spacious 7. World Cup matches screened in the bar

The location was awesome. The customer service was excellent and they were responsive. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was great.

Great location in Porto and everything needed for my stay, definitely recommend!
