Nice staff and clean room

Had a nice stay at Bessa hotel. It was quiet and perfect as a solo traveller. The cleaning was perfect and they had nice shower gel, body lotion and shampoo from Rituals. It is an hour away from the city center if you walk. The staff at the reception were nice and always available.

Best staff, best breakfast! We’ve stayed only for 2 days but I could stay there forever. The staff is so kind and helpful. They gave us some travel tips too and made our holiday unforgettable. The breakfast is just amazing. Rooms are clean.

Disappointing stay

It’s a beautiful hotel however the TV didn’t work. We advised the front desk and some tried to fix it but to no avail. We should have received a discount or some sort of compensation as this was a service we were paying for but nothing was offered. Also, the shower leaked everywhere.

Das Hotel war im wesentlichen in Ordnung. Der Buchungsprozess fraglich und unschön. Expedia schreibt „erst in der Unterkunft zu bezahlen“. EXPEDIA schreibt: zusätzlich keinesfalls eine Überweisung an Dritte zu tätigen. Kurz nach Reservierungsbestätigung durch EXPEDIA erhielt ich eine Aufforderung, vom Hotel dringend - in wenigen Minuten! - eine vorab Zahlung per Kreditkarte zu leisten, Sonst wäre meine Buchung storniert. Es ist dabei nicht klargewesen ob das Hotel dabei als dritte gilt. Eine Kommunikation mit EXPEDIA ist schwierig. Ich konnte keine Rückfrage stellen und habe über meine Rückfrage keine Antwort bekommen Es gab mehrere Tage Verunsicherung die Veröffentlichung und Darstellung von Expedia finde ich daher an der Grenze des seriösen. Ich werde daher mit Expedia nicht so schnell wieder buchen. es gibt Unsicherheiten. Ich habe immerhin über 1000 € bezahlt und wusste nicht ob die Zahlung korrekt angekommen ist.
