"Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)"

"Wonderful place to stay beautiful surroundings all staff very friendly and attentive, breakfast delicious."

"Nice clean hotel"

"I booked in January for a summer weekend, arrived in July to find hotel closed and had to find another hotel. I contacted the hotel through expedia and through their website twice in the week running up to my stay. The Guest House did not respond I arrived to find Hall Bank Guest House locked up and closed. I had to find emergency accomodation for the night. I suggest that potential holidaymakers think very carefully before risking booking Hall Bank Guest House"

"Free parking, basic clean room, great value for money if you are not too fussy, huge TV, Bikers cafe next door doing cheap breakfasts."

"Easy to find and very convenient. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was made to order and very good. We liked that we could have dinner and a drink without driving anywhere."
