We went for knowing we wanted a lazy holiday. Our aim was to spend as much time on a sun lounger as possible and I think we managed pretty well. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are SO helpful and we possible the best massages in the Spa we've ever had. We explored the 2 towns close to the resort; Port Louis seemed to be more of a day time excursion, the markets are great and its def worth a visit, but beware of getting hassled (its pretty much the opposite of been in the hotel). The reception staff and bar staff in particular were excellent. Very friendly people who remembered faces and drinks extremely well. The cleaner was very nice and never rushed us out so she could clean the rooms. Overall an excellent experience

We go on many holidays a year however this is by far the best hotel service we have ever received. They did so much for us. A little goes a long way. Even the manager came and spoke to everyone individually during dinner - where else do you get that?! Every single member of staff, gave the best service ! They gave us a cake for our anniversary. Room was extremely comfortable and the service is exceptional. Note the sea here can be too shallow to swim in at low tide, and we stayed during a neep tide when the water was too low to use the pedaloes, canoes etc. Highly recommend the trip to swim with dolphins arranged by the hotel, note you need to be a strong swimmer though to jump off the boat on cue and swim rapidly to keep up with them - children under 12 probably couldn't manage it. As the title suggest it is just that. the staff work on a " yes can do basis". The management and staff acknowledges your presence with a nice and short greeting each time and everytime wherever you find yourself. The restaurant waiting staff are very discrete and offers top service without being prompted. The CEO extended his oiwn personal welcome at a cocktail party was most gracious.

Everything about our stay was perfect! I spent a long time before we booked looking at all the different areas/hotels/reviews and everything and even made a spreadsheet to compare the best prices for our favourites- I have to say we couldn't have gone for anything better! Excellent food and service

Very spacious and clean. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. There is no sign outside the building and so we had some difficulty locating it, but once inside we were pleasantly surprised. Great location - directly opposite the market.

To begin with the journey from the airport to the hotel will take approx 45minutes and will cost 2000 MUR (about £40) in a taxi or 2100 MUR for airport transfer. Location - peaceful south coast which in my opinion has more natural beauty than the other parts of the island. Also whilst it was raining elsewhere in Mauritius the Sofitel seemed to strangely enjoy sunshine consistently. We have just returned from a fantastic stay at the Hilton in Mauritius. The hotel's about an hour's walk from the town of Flic en Flac, but there are always plenty of taxis outside the hotel that will take you there. My husband and I went to Mauritius in our honey moon and stayed at the hotel. Le Preskill island resort is nestled by a crystal-clear lagoon on the south east coast of Mauritius. Superb hotel completely 5 star, lot's of activities and beautiful property. The only drawback is that its far from the city so you need Taxis every time you go out which is bit costly.

This is a place to enjoy beautiful sunsets and relax on the beach. Activities are plenty. We did Scuba Diving n glass boat rides. Superb food and superb restaurant services.

The reception staff was excellent.tbe check in was smooth. Got help from the bagagiste. There was adequate free parking for our rented car. The lunch from the Japanese sextion was absolutely delightful. Going tk Caudan was very easy due to the free water taxi
