Listening to birds, looking at the flying fox and white-tailed tropicbird, a gorgeousplce to stay for some days. Hiking in the morning and swimming in the sea in the afternoon. "Beautiful spot on the cliff over the Indian Ocean on the south coast of Mauritius. About 40 minutes from the airport, including the track through the sugar cane plantation. "The villa is elegant in an Mauritian style and well maintained. A golf club car is available to go down to beach of the SO Sofitel within its property the villa is located. The place is suitable for families with children. The villa comes with a housemaid, named Christelle, who does all the daily cleaning, laundry and preparations for breakfast. "Location was good for me as I was only there for three nights and wanted to be close to the airport for an early flight when I left. They offer an excellent shuttle to and from the airport at no extra cost. They offer a free shuttle to a mall and a beach all through the daytime. I had two tours booked and was picked up at the hotel so this location suited me very well. The breakfast was excellent and the pool was a nice area to relax. The room was a good size and beds were comfy. I would stay here again for a short visit. "

"Excellent hotel in a stunning location We had a wonderful stay at Lux Le Morne Mauritius. The hotel is excellent, spotlessly clean, and set on a truly beautiful beach with breathtaking views. One of the highlights of our trip was swimming with wild dolphins — absolutely well worth doing and an unforgettable experience. I would definitely recommend spending the extra for an ocean view room; waking up to that view really added something special to our stay. The restaurant was very good overall, although a few more themed evenings would be welcome, especially for guests staying for two weeks or longer. The staff were amazing, particularly in the restaurant. They shared great tips about the island, made us laugh, and even brought us bowls of fresh lychees at breakfast — such a lovely touch. A special thank you to Cindy and Viswanee for making our stay even more memorable. We would happily return and highly recommend this hotel."
