"Ducey Best Western was a great stay. The staff were polite, courteous, helpful and patient with our language barrier. We had a AMAZING dinner on our first night prepared by their in-house chef. Our second-floor window opened on to the river which was picturesque. The village itself is small and quiet, with cafes, bars, restaurants and groceries walking distance from the hotel. "The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Despite Cherbourg undergoing significant utility and road revamping, it made little impact in the hotel. Free parking was easily available within a few minutes walk 😀"

"This was definitely value for the money spent. Not expecting much considering the whole island is a medieval village. Very clean although the building is obviously quite old. Super location right on the island of Mont St. Michel. Was fun to wander the pathways in the evening when it was only the people staying on the island. Beautiful sunset view over the bay from medieval ramparts."
