Exceptional all the way. This is a terrific hotel with beautiful new and modern rooms, attentive staff and exceptional facilities. No wonder it gets such a high rating from others. Food is also terrific, as is the service that comes with it. You definitely get what you pay for! It’s a treat. Looking forward to returning.

I booked the hotel but actually stayed in their other property Sama Sherif Basha Hotel due to unavailability issues. This could have gone terribly wrong and was offered to stay in Sama Sherif and at 4am in the morning I don’t want to end up in the streets so accepted. The trip was saved. Ahmed was very helpful in settling us in the rooms and it was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in the room and could feed a whole village. The Waldorf Astoria is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at... It is stunning and for travellers who want luxury, convenience and an unforgettable stay, this is the place. The hotel oozes quality. The staff are fantastic, the rooms (we were upgraded to a suite) are beautiful, spacious and clean. The facilities, including restaurant and pool are also excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would not stay anywhere else in Cairo - by far the best hotel for miles around....

Great hotel - clean spacious room with great amenities! Also an excellent breakfast. Good options for restaurants - the Armenian is highly recommended.

Excellence service, great food, but alcohol drink seems to be diluted with water that comes with very low alcohol content. Great accessibility to sea with lots of sea life around, love this place overall.

A great choice of hotel. Beautifully presented and in a wonderful spot on the bank of the Nile. Very peaceful and easy to get into town. Professional and friendly staff who seem to genuinely like their jobs, which reflects in a better quality of service. good wifi. Excellent/diverse choice at breakfast buffet. Restaurant and bar pricey though. Yet this is surely the best place to stay in Luxor. We will return.

I really love this hotel. It’s so beautiful in a very quiet area of Makadi Bay. My room was huge, and I had a lovely view of the pool. I asked for a quiet room and they gave that to me. I had a few issues but I spoke to Hager (customer relations) and the General Manager and all was resolved quickly and I stayed on two extra days. The food is varied and there is a lot of it. Had a lovely stay in this beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. The service was top notch, everyone was all very kind and accommodating. (From asking for breakfast boxes to late checkout — all my requests were met). The morning yoga included in the itinerary was such a bonus treat to my stay. Not like other Four Seasons, but they have specially view on the pyramids from the window of my room. The hotel staff were very kind and friendly. The room was very clean and pleasant, room service was really good and very helpful, I called them at 3.30am asking for a extra duvet, its provide straight away :) Location is great there is not in a quiet location off the main noise road, but the real problem about the noise was inside my room, the guys in the next room making so high conversation...

We booked a weeks break with another couple, it was our 30th wedding anniversary. The hotel was spotlessly clean and service was excellent. The food was great and also the themed restaurants were excellent especially the Alexandria. Kareem who worked on the 24hour lobby bar was funny, very polite and looked after us.

I loved everything about the hotel, especially the staff (Emad, Ehab and Elia at the pool) and Ahmed and Eva in the restaurant. The treatment of Othman the receptionist is excellent..... I do not recommend using the spa because the staff is very bad and the price list is not fixed. The hotel is close to the airport and you do not need to leave the hotel, it is a paradise
