I arranged the trip for my son's 11th Birthday and he enjoyed it so much he said the hotel should have 5 stars. My boys loved the pool, the room, the food and the chocolate milkshakes. It's a beautiful clean area by the sea, with the lovely big park and amusements. I will definitely book here again.

All in all it was a very nice stay food was excellent room was very good only thing that took the edge of the whole experience was we were told breakfast finished at ten we got down at 9-32 and a snoty waitress said breakfast finished at 9-30 I pointed out it’s only two minutes past surely you can squeeze us in no chance spoilt the whole experience

Property was quiet, a bit of noise from, other guests but only to be expected. This is quite a large hotel but we visited in February so I cannot vouch for what it is like in summer. Location is good and is convenient for beach, supermarkets and public transport. The staff we dealt with were efficient and friendly. We would visit again.

Overall first class. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Staff polite, efficient and friendly. Food delicious. Only one minor gripe around slowness of service in restaurant. Breakfast was stunning. Would recommend to anyone.

Ideally situated near to M6 motorway junction 42 and 43. Lovely country location. Clean and comfortable rooms (fan provided) good food and friendly staff. Beautiful mature gardens. Plenty of free on site parking,free Wi-Fi. Food and accommodation reasonably priced.

Great stay cook service good food good bar and bar food. But watch when u book and pay they offer a full cooked breakfast for £10 more and u don't get it! U have been warned.

The room and amenities are great. The grounds are beautiful and the staff generally really nice. Only the lady in reception when we checked in acted like she was bored and we were disturbing her. The staff in the restaurant however absolutely amazing and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place

Booked this at the last minute on impulse as an absolute bargain offer. I didn't have particularly high expectations given the low price & some less than happy reviews. How wrong could I be!! We wanted to use this hotel as a springpoint to visit Buttermere and this side of the Lakes. We stayed in an Executive Room. It was spacious and felt brand new- the bathroom in paritcular looked new. The bed was super - and extremely wide! We had driven up here after staying for a night in Liverpool and after a testing drive, it was great to find that they had left some (very tasty) port in the bedroom for us. We couldn't have felt more cared for by the staff here, from the communication before...

We ended up staying in the washington hotel due to no heating, staff in the hotel were brilliant, room was very clean and a good size. Would definitely stay again
