"Hotel was very well situated next to the port, we came off a cruise. Also very close walking to central downtown with restaurants and pubs."

"Excellent historical hotel and location. Listen to the sound of waves. Amazing breakfast and service to go with it! Fresh pastries, coffee and cup English made to order."

"Very good breakfast. Staff lovely and friendly."

"Great place to stay."

"Food, staff and rooms were all really good."

"This is an interesting old pub/hotel renovated to a high standard. The rooms were well appointed and the breakfast was superb."

"Warm welcome, friendly staff, Great place all round "

"Quirky hotel with some original features but overpriced for level of finish in room. Good food well presented but waiting time and co-ordination of service appalling. Waiting staff did not engage with customers and no one person taking overall responsibility for front of house. Judging by the guests staying I’m guessing there is a lot of one-off visitors who will never return and this is reflected in the level of customer care- Shame"
