"What can I say about this hotel that hasn’t already been said? It was simply amazing. We took a break from our family heritage tour and headed north of Galway to stay at The Lodge at Ashford Castle—and I’m so glad we did. "This place was mostly great! The spa was lovely, food was good, environment is pretty. The beds were comfortable and the features of the room all worked well. The two issues were the heat -- it was very warm even after I turned off the radiator -- and the noise. The walls are thin, and I could definitely hear the people nextdoor very easily. I sleep with white noise, so it wasn't a huge deal, but nonetheless a bit of a problem."
