Service was 5 STAR! This is an “old school hotel” which puts great emphasis on keeping it facilities, beautiful and well-maintained, and the service of the staff is top-notch. Annie at the front desk went above and beyond the call, helping us with arrangements and transportation. We highly, highly recommend this hotel.

I have no doubt this place has wonderful bedrooms, but the one we had, room 116, most certainly wasn't one of them. Hot, stuffy, poorly ventilated, a view of a poorly maintained fountain and a wall. There was what appeared to be an extractor in the shower but it didn't seem to go anything as the bathroom became steamy after even a short shower. I would have expected A/C in a hotel like this. Staff were friendly and helpful enough, breakfast was very good, as was the Brehon Bar. I understand that someone has to get stuck in the less good rooms, but the hotel will have to understand that people will write unfavourably about them when they are.

The rooms were spotless. The staff were amazing they went above and beyond. It was the most relaxing stay. The little beautiful touches were outstanding. This was our little girls first holiday and the staff were so friendly and helpful with them.
