Find the best Chambéry Métropole-Coeur des Bauges Hotels

I have stayed in many high end hotels throughout the world and I have to say that this experience was superb from start to finish. Staff could not have been more professional and helpful. The room was superb and the setting was also great. All rooms are individually designed and the building dates back to the 15th century, so is characterful in many regards. If you're in Chambéry and you want a really good place to stay, I would strongly recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our way back north. The hotel is lovely and the rooms very comfortable, the restaurant was closed whilst we were there but the bar serves a nice selection without needing to go out. The hotel is ideally positioned to visit Annecy or do what we did and visit Mont Revard with outstanding views of the lake right next to the hotel, the surrounding countryside is beautiful. This is a beautiful old place with great charm and ambience. The rooms are beautifully appointed, with great beds and bathrooms and lots of little amenities. The customer service was above and beyond normal levels of service. One example (and there were many): When we arrived after a 7 hour drive with no food, the receptionist fixed us up with wine and cheese on the patio even though the restaurant wasn't open. We booked ourselves in mainly for the restaurant and we did have a superb meal! Service and food were outstanding. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We did arrive via an industrial estate on the outskirts of Chambery and did have a panic when sat nav was telling us we were less than a mile away. However it very quickly becomes rural and the setting is lovely when you are in the grounds. Our big complaint is that this is a 4 star hotel, however there is no food made available on a Sunday...

Great hotel - reception area with free coffee, nice seating and games was super. Rooms were nice also and the kitchenette was helpful. Daily cleaning and towel changes also useful.

Our double room was not air-conditioned as was advertized! It was so very hot and a fan did little. The two at reception were most helpful and moved us into a family room, with air and lots of space. What a treat for us and I told them I would give them an outstanding rating. The breakfast was also ideal= would definitely stay there again. Mid-town which is charming!

The train direct connections ( we came in via Turin and left for Paris, with a trip to beautiful Annecy in the middle. Fantastic breakfast!

The property was fine and perfect with big rucksacks with being so close to the train station, close to all bars and restaurants and In such a pretty town.

Easy to find hotel, a short walk from the station. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel was well located to explore the town centre after a short walk.
