We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out.
Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day.
We couldn’t fault our stay and would highly recommend House 41 to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely return if we’re in the...

This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. However, if you love modern luxury, you may be disappointed with the rooms since...

Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

Staff can't do enough for you, so helpful and cheerful. Very feel good place to stay. Comfortable and feels safe even when travelling alone. Good dining choices even for breakfast. A happy place. I would certainly stay there again. Thank you Ethorpe Hotel for a lovely week 😊 Very convenient for everything you could wish to do. I recommend you try it for yourself if you are reading this review! 😊

What a fabulous hotel. I am happy to highly recommend. Friendly, professional staff. Clean and well equipped room and spotless shower room with lovely towels. The food was a very high standard with plenty of choice for everyone. The bar entertainment on Friday night was excellent. The pool and spa facilities were 'the icing on the cake' ..clean warm pool big enough to have a good swim. Sauna, steam room and hot tub were also excellent. I was so pleased with this hotel. The reception, breakfast and cleaning staff all did a good job. The aircon in the hotel was very effective which was great when it was so hot outside.
Plenty of parking, very convenient for access to attractions in the area, close to the river.
Very enjoyable visit.

This stay was just for overnight. The room was clean and very comfortable, and there was an available parking place in the courtyard.
The Villiers staff couldn't have been kinder. Holly from Reception took me to my room and explained the necessary details required for my stay.
At breakfast Jackie insisted that I have everything brought to me as she had spotted my walking difficulties. Because all other guests finished in the breakfast room I had the bonus of interesting conversation with her...

Lovely location. Cosy room. Friendly staff and locals. Excellent cooked breakfast. Restaurant area looked nice but we were attending an evening function so didn't get to try it out. Would definitely recommend. Lots of parking. Peaceful. Excellent value.
