The not so good: unfriendly staff at check in, noise all night long (until at least 2 am), saggy mattress that hurt my back. There were people partying and shouting all night long, running through the halls, etc. I called the front desk around midnight and they said they would solve the issue but the noise continued. I got very little sleep. I wouldn't stay here again."

Upon my late arrival in Vancouver, I was informed at the front desk that the room I had reserved included a shared bathroom with other guests. This came as a complete surprise, as there was no clear indication of shared bathroom accommodations in the Expedia listing at the time of booking. Having traveled extensively around the world during my career as an airline pilot for over 12 years, I have stayed in a wide range of hotels, and this was the first time I encountered such an arrangement without prior disclosure. Due to the late hour and lack of alternative options, I had no choice but to upgrade to a small room with a private bathroom at a significantly higher cost In addition, the internet service at the hotel was extremely slow and unreliable. It was difficult to use even for basic purposes, and it was not possible to watch television or stream content, which further impacted the quality of my stay.As a result, my three-night stay totaled close to $1,000, which was far beyond what I had initially expected based on the information provided. I strongly believe that this situation was the result of misleading or incomplete information on the Expedia platform, combined with substandard hotel conditions. Please request the different payment back to me."
