. We has dinner and breakfast here - both were fab! Our daughter has a nut allergy and the staff were very thorough in making sure nothing she ate was contaminated. The children loved the pool too!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful in going as far as lending us a I pad charger when we had forgotten ours. "

"Nice looking hotel in a great area. Eautiful farm country surrounding you. Nice pool. Very friendly check in person. My two complaints were the bed is a very stiff uncomfortable matress and (yes im American) the room was very warm. The window opened but it was still too warm for me to sleep even with the tiny fan provided. Not worth the $$"

"We just completed a trip in Scotland and this was by far our favourite hotel that we stayed in! All of the services and amenities were perfect and we enjoyed the area it was in. It was just a short drive into a Edinburgh. The beds were comfortable, the restaurant/bar downstairs was fun to be at in the evenings and we enjoyed breakfast in the morning. We also really enjoyed having a coffee maker in the room which we quickly realized at other hotels is not common."

"Unique hotel with old world charm. Friendly staff...our only issue was the broken heater in our bathroom that was on both days and scalding hot which radiated into the room.beautiful view from the terrace not so much from our room which faced the garbage bins...but overall a pleasant enough stay. "
