"The accommodations were very good. We had a big 45 minute problem finding parking at the beginning of our stay. It would have been helpful if someone had informed us by email that the name/owner of the parking garage had changed! A phone call to IHC didn’t help as the woman was uninformed about the parking situation…not her fault!! That, along with the fact that there was a huge “pedestrian only” area surrounding the hotel and the fact that we were driving on a different side of the road made this experience particularly stressful! When we did finally find the hotel your front desk personnel were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and quite large. The bathroom was particularly nice. The breakfast was good. But the first hour of contact was very stressful and unprofessional of your organization."

"We had a lovely two-night stay and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The hotel was welcoming, comfortable and very dog-friendly, which made travelling with our dogs so easy and enjoyable. Our room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and we really appreciated how accommodating they were with the dogs. The location was also ideal for getting out and about with them, and it was great to be able to enjoy a short break without worrying about whether our dogs would be welcomed. Overall, a fantastic stay and somewhere we would happily return to. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and genuinely dog-friendly hotel."

"You get what you paid for. For a 2-star hotel, it is excellent. Perfect location, 6-min walk from the train station, and you are right in the city centre. Steps from the famous historic arcades and Cardiff Market. Their staff, especially Alison, are super friendly and helpful. Yes, it is an old hotel and the facilities may be a bit dated. They use physical keys for the room, and you have to leave your key at reception when you go out. But all of those are fine. The only downside is that the whole building is currently under construction, so there are scaffolds right outside the window, which made me feel a bit insecure."
