"Friendly staff, luckily with a broken leg comfort was there as I got upgraded.
Breakfast service was nice, but wasn’t overly friendly. "

"A quite tastefully decorated and populated older building with an external coach house to provide additional rooms. Stayed three nights with a colleague on business, and this is the 4th/5th time I have used this hotel as I am down in Bridgend for work quite frequently. Staff are friendly, welcoming and excellent from start to finish; possibly the younger ones slightly timid. My room has been very clean every time.
Bar service is great, drinks selection good, comfortable furniture in a relaxed, but stylish setting. Special mention for the food, which is well presented and, most importantly, tastes great and has obviously been prepared with care and attention as my colleague also remarked on it.
Difficult to fault. Sometimes a little pricy compared to other local hotels, but one gets what one is paying for."
