"Well designed modern hotel. Rooms were spacious and hip with comfortable bedding. Restaurants had a great vibe. Literally the nicest hotel gym I’ve ever seen. Loved this hotel. Highly recommend. This hotel could be in Brooklyn or London. "

"The Galmont is a very nice hotel that is in an excellent location for travelers. It is only a 3 minute walk from the train station or bus station, and equally close to the center of town. We did not have a car and it was a great choice for us. The young lady who checked us in was super helpful and we even got an upgraded room! The lobby area is very nice, the bar and restaurants are great, and the room was very well appointed. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large. There are a ton of restaurants and pubs within a short walk, as well as the shopping district. Really no complaints, but the chair and ottoman in the room was rather worn and should be replaced. A minor fault. Definitely recommend!"

"This area around the hotel looks quite "industrial", but it a very short walk into Galway and given this location, for me it was a winner. Breakfast was fine, but not helped by a coachload of quite loud tourists from a foreign land that expected their coffee to come in buckets, otherwise all was good"

"An adorable hotel right in the middle of historic Galway. The rooms were well designed and comfortable if on the small side and the one we stayed in didn’t have a window (the only flaw). The rooms did seem to have excellent sound proofing as we were never disrupted from the street noise. Super kind service and discounts on nearby parking made it the perfect place to stay. "

"An excellent stay in our harbourfront room - they have a restaurant with an excellent view and good food on the top floor. Everything was fine except the weather was freezing and wet!"
