"Just pulling out La Ferme des Mares, a charming establishment that provides everything except showers and an apology or discount for providing showers. Should you decide to visit, my advice is that you check the hot water before accepting the keys so that you don't have the unhappy experience of discovering an ice cold shower upon waking the next morning. And no one at the reception to assist you until 8:30 AM when you need to check out."

"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows.
No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located.
Rooms are clean, bed was firm. "

"Excellent stay again , and Valerie and Guy were on hand if there were any problems . Guy leaving his own brand of home brew which was great .The super Market was just fifteen minutes away and the area is very quiet .Very easy to get to local beaches and D.DAY memorials .Went for a few walks in the evening and visited a few sights .On the whole a very relaxing stay again ."
