"Excellent property, well located near Utah Beach but no more than a hour to the furthest one (Sword). Communication in advance and check in was perfect, Georges is extremely helpful. The house is immaculately clean, and well appointed. Very rural, no bars/restaurants in walking distance, but we knew that from the listing and enjoyed the peace and quiet. If we come back to Normandy we would happily stay here again."
"Located in the center of Carentan across from the bahnhof, this hotel is easy to find. Parking is available in back or on the street. The room we stayed in #11, has no interior curtains. To have privacy, you close the outdoor shutters and lock them, the close the windows.
No electric outlets in the bathroom or 2nd room where 2 single beds are located.
Rooms are clean, bed was firm. "

"Gite de Tulliul is exactly as described in the vrbo script.
The owner, Nicolas, was very helpful and easily communicative.
Impeccably clean. Lovely "top notch" specification. Everything here you would need for a short break, as was ours, just 4 nights. But equally all you need for a MUTCH longer stay.
Car is needed., but you are only 10 minutes from two lovely towns, Carentan, and, the fantastic, St Mere Eglise. A must see.
So much to see and do.
We were three family members, me 69 years, my son 42 years, and his son 20 years. We ALL thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
