Wonderful week in Normandy

We spend a week at Les Tisserands recently. John (host/owner) could not have been more welcoming. From the moment we got there, we felt more like visiting family than as paying guests. Breakfast every morning was simple but a great way to start our daily adventures. John was a font of information on the local area---his suggestions of the D-Day museum and the Chateau at Balleroy were great. He knew so many restaurants that we were spoiled for choice. Overall a great vacation--would highly recommend!

Wow. Visited Normandy for a weekend and discovered this place. Located in an old farmhouse down a country lane near La Cambe, this is a great place to base your activities while visiting the beaches, cemeteries, and museums in the area. Price is right and the location can't be beat for quiet evenings. The owner John is an awesome host. He speaks good British English sand is a wealth of information about not only the history of the area, but also the good local spots. A gentleman and conversationalist who told good stories and taught me card games as we chatted into the night. Room was clean and quiet, shower was hot and had good pressure, and breakfast was simple but well done. Truly an excellent experience all the way around. Do not overlook it when visiting the area.

I was in awe of the property when I arrived and even more so when I entered. John, the host is a very knowledgeable person and was able to direct me to various locations for sightseeing. I was extremely happy with my stay and will return soon and would also recommend to anyone else.

If I had Known about this B&B before I left I would have spent my whole 7 day vacation there.John became a friend.A real French farm house.Fresh baked bread in the morning. A french village outside your door.All at a steal of a price.

Overordnet set et fint sted. Det er dog et bed'n breakfast og ikke et hotel. Det trækker ned at der er fælles bad/toilet og ringe WiiFi. Værten er dog fantastisk. Ved utrolig meget om området og er utrolig hjælpsom. Har man bare brug for overnatning og morgenmad er dette det ideelle sted.
