The gite was amazing, very comfortable and peaceful but with all the mod cons. Monique, the host, was amazing and told us about the local area as well as showing us around the gite. The place had a lovely fireplace which took out the chill in the evening. Gavray was nicely located, Caen is an hour away and Granville only 30 mins. Mont St Michel is also only 45 mins away. There is also a mini farm on site with geese, chickens, goats and rabbits to see. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en met zorg bereid – een perfecte start van de dag! Wat ons vooral opviel, was hoe kindvriendelijk alles is. Er is speelgoed aanwezig, een schommel buiten, en ook aan praktische dingen is gedacht: een kinderbedje, kinderstoel en zelfs een verschoonkussen stonden al klaar.
