"Breakfast was very average and borderline overcooked. Both days an item was missed off the breakfast… day 1 Hashbrown day 2 … Sausage ! The food was luke warm at best and the coffee was weak. Dinner … the restaurant is very expensive and the food poor and the cost of drinks, in particular wine is extortionate. Rooms are really nice and so is raw Spa. "

"This hotel is excellent, highly recommend 👌 rooms are spacious with everything needed, kettle with tea + coffee plus a coffee machine with pods. Very large super comfy king-size bed, complementary bottles of water on each bedside table, unexpected nice touch of a DAB radio playing low in the room, bathroom fully stocked with soap - shower gel - conditioner and loads of towels. Plus the room has hair dryer, iron and ironing board. This hotel is perfectly located only minutes walk from the castle. All the staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection of both hot cooked food to a fully stocked continental section. A very nice hotel in every aspect, can't fault anything 👍"

"This was a great fully equipped cottage where the hosts have thoughtfully included everything travellers would need for a stay (even if you have small children). The property was very clean and the kitchen was excellent with a professional gas hob to cook on.Very conveniently located close to the Castle and dining options in town or hiking further afield by car in Wales. The check in/out process and communication with the hosts were smooth and easy.We would definitely stay here again without ANY hesitation!"

"Lovely apartment, much more spacious than I was expecting, and furnished to a high standard. Great estuary views. As previously mentioned, rear access requires you to watch your step,and lack of convenient parking is a disadvantage, though that applies to many town properties everywhere now. Enjoyed my stay,and would happily stay again. "
