"Our room itself was clean and quite adequate. Not very quiet though, music carried thru the pipes and arguments in the hallways were very audible. The carpet in some of the hallways needed cleaning. The key cards never worked more than once and had to be replaced about every time we left the room. The layout of the hotel was also strange with a lot of switch backs through corridors to reach the lobby."

"OK for a short stay for 1 or 2 nights but wouldn't suggest longer as no amenities and the adjacent motorway service station is, of course, ludicrously expensive, as they all are. Stayed there for a week and staff forgot to clean the room twice, no staff on reception in mornings and cleaning staff finish at 3pm, so 2 nights came back to the room as I'd left it in the morning; bin not emptied, unmade bed and wet towels, so missing the basics I guess, but was cheapest I could find in the local area."

"My partner and I regularly choose to stay here for the great breakfast, nifty little gym and lovely rooms. The staff are lovely and it is always a lovely rest."

Eastwell Manor, Champneys Hotel & Spa

"Beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Stayed in the mews which was a five minute walk from the main hotel. Spa was okay, but small. Plus there was an aqua aerobics class going on in the pool blasting Wham. Not very relaxing. Food and drink were as you'd expect from such a location. Recommended"
