"Lovely hotel with free parking. Very comfortable bed & room has all amenities. Our room had a balcony which was nice as we could open the door & sit outside. There is also a very comfortable sitting area near the bar, with ambient lighting & sectioned off alcoves. Our only complaint was the food. We had dinner there on our first night & were both very disappointed with our choice. The chicken burger looked as if it was made from reformed chicken & the taste & texture was horrible. The chips were very greasy, you could squeeze the oil from them. I had the lamb skewers & flat bread & salad, which consisted of limp lettuce with some red onion. The lamb tasted like the firepit range from tescos. The breakfast is also very average with hard mushrooms & tasteless eggs. I did enjoy some cereal on the 2nd day though."

"Warm welcome on arrival and very quick to book in. Room was lovely, lots of space and very clean. Bathroom looked a bit tired but was adequate. Would definitely stay again"

"Rooms are fine but could use a bit of freshening. Our bed was comfortable and the location was quiet. The continental breakfast was a huge disappointment. Several things were not available and what was served was just okay. The front desk staff are superior and they were very helpful with any questions we asked. The location makes this hotel a wonderful choice but don’t expect great food."

"Excellent customer service the rooms were very clean the only let down was the breakfast poor quality napkins also fruit and continental breakfast was very poor the English breakfast was good quality and plentiful they just have to up the other options as for the star establishment it lets it down"

"Had a lovely stay at this hotel. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the price so very reasonably priced. Will definitely stay again"

"Enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we could only get luke warm water in the bathroom. First day only one coffee machine was working so quite a long queue. The other machine was fixed the next day.."
