The bed was extremely comfortable and the kitchen accessories were great. The surrounding area was beautiful and meeting and feeding the alpacas was a special experience. "Mirk Cottage lived up to its description 100% and more. It was beautifully converted, spotlessly clean, stylishly and comfortably decorated. Everything was in immaculate condition and fully eqipped for long or short stays. There was clear information on how to use utilities and helpful suggestions for restaurants, pubs etc in the surrounding area. "We stayed for a few days whilst visiting family in Manchester and Sheffield.The location was perfect for this! Extremely quiet but very accessible.We appreciated the space of a house, for two people (and a dog!) and also the fact that we were able to book for the exact dates of our stay.Warm (temperatures outside were around zero) and comfortable (very comfortable bed!)Very well-equipped kitchen … just missing the means to make fresh coffee!Definite recommendation from us!"
