Brilliant property, spread over three floors, double, twin and bathroom on the upper floors. Lounge, dining room, kitchen. Plenty of room for your own space. Outside seating and space, does have a gate, but smaller dogs could squeeze under it. Really well decorated, and well equipped. Good for families ...
Really relaxing, breakfast very enjoyable. Anna very helpful and welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer. 10 out of 10.

Cleveland is the gateway to the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, and as such the area attracts adventurous types throughout the year; including keen ramblers who travel for the long-distance walking trails. If you're looking for a hotel where you can relax after a day of hiking or white-water rafting, you'll find everything from B&Bs in Redcar to chain hotels in Middlesbrough and spa hotels in Stockton-On-Tees.
Those looking for value-for-money accommodation as a base from which to explore Cleveland's many outdoor attractions are spoilt for choice. Larger chain hotels with leisure club and spa facilities are a great choice if you want to relax with a massage or workout in the gym after a busy day. Even smaller, independent hotels offer facilities such as free WiFi and self-parking, so you can load the car up with your adventure sports gear without worrying about finding a parking space near your hotel.
If it's the great outdoors you're after, Cleveland won't disappoint. The 109-mile Cleveland Way runs from Helmsley across the North York Moors to Highcliff Nab, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the coast and Tees Valley. There are also shorter walking routes and heritage trails here too. It's said that Cleveland has some of the best surf sites outside Cornwall, and Saltburn Surf School is a great place to enjoy expert tuition. Alternativly, head for Coatham Beach if you want to give kite surfing or jet skiing a go. Adrenaline-junkies can try white water rafting at Tees Barrage, or choose from several motorsports venues including the Chris Birkbeck International Ralley School, or Epic Motorsports Park in Redcar. Sharing your spectacular photos on social media is a breeze, as most hotels provide free WiFi to guests.
Adventurous couples and families will find that hotels in Cleveland offer excellent amenities such as free parking, WiFi and complimentary breakfast, so you’re perfectly set up for a day of surfing, golfing or hiking. Hotel staff are usually happy to point you in the direction of the area's main sporting attractions, while some hotels provide assistance with booking tickets, if required.
