Thoroughly recommend. Lovely rural part of Devon, the hotel is set in its own well maintained grounds, which is excellent for dog walking, our room was clean and comfortable, as was the breakfast and dining area which were both well set out, with plenty of space to accommodate dogs. Food was great, varied and plentiful. All staff were polite, efficient, and attentive, which helped to create a pleasant and chilled atmosphere.

This is real gem, hidden away in the Devon countryside, at the end of long private driveway - with rather too many deep potholes, a danger to your car's tyres and suspension. Once you're there you get get a warm welcome - all of the staff couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms are quite spacious. and the beds are very comfortable. Dining is a speciality, and though the portions may seem small to some, they are beautifully prepared and presented, preceded by tempting amuse-bouches served...

The complete package at reasonable cost. The whole ethos of the hotel from the staff to the facilities make you feel good to be there. Love it !

I had a lovely stay and nothing was too much bother for Sue. Lots of choice for breakfast. I would happily stay here again. Even had a scarecrow trail whilst I was there with an amazing entry at the guesthouse.

Traditional inn with wonderful welcoming owners. Room was spacious, clean and cool. Food was delicious with a great choice at breakfast. Would highly recommend.

Perfect for a overnight stop on our way down to Penzance, Roof was excellent as was the bed . A little noise from the busy main road but certainly not a problem. We would definitely stay here again and also dog friendly. Perfect!

The Inn was clean and tidy, room was nice and the dogs had a welcome pack. Staff friendly, food was lovely and catered for gluten and dairy free. I took my own lactose free milk. Breakfast wide choice. The only thing which would have been an added bonus was to have some grass or astro turf for the dogs to use. There was no grassed area in easy walking distance that we found.

Great litlle B&B really friendly and just a nice short walking distance from Instow beach. Breakfast was great and little touches like afternoon cakes just added to the experience.

A great stop over on the way to Cornwall A nice welcome on arrival and we found our booking upgraded to a larger room. A good selection of pies for dinner and fresh pastries and coffee for breakfast. Fresh coffee and cafetière in the room was a nice touch.
