Not for anyone who has problems with steps . Steep steps upto the apartment and inside the apartment . Parking a problem ,i had to carry everthing from the car park as no on street parking near the apartment . Ok for a young couple "

"Sonachon house is now under new owners Leanne and Aaron. They were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent with full English, cereals, toast, and yoghurt on offer. They also provide some towels for the beach as well as free loan of bucket and spades.There is a spacious communal lounge which was really nice to relax in over a cup of coffee. Rooms were clean and nice ensuite shower room. Aaron tells me that he is planning to offer fishing trips next year for guests. A most enjoyable...

"Our stay was lovely the apartment was clean everything we needed…we even had Netflix which made a wet evening enjoyable binge watching a series.. the views were amazing Rob was really helpful & polite, Just one little niggle the mattress on the double bed wasn’t the comfiest, But wouldn’t put as off booking & staying there again :) "

"Great comms with the host and a great place to stay. We liked the cleanliness and decor. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The location is great for access to the town and both front and back beaches. We also took the nearby foot-ferry to Shaldon and had a super time exploring there. We'll be happy to stay again."

"Very smart well equipped apartment. it had everything you could need. Superb location with great terrace and views.. Very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, great lounge and kitchen. If you are going into Torquay go through the garden and down the steps, very quick and easy (we got taxis back!). We did struggle a bit with the electric ceiling heating, although the instructions were comprehensive it was difficult to know if it worked."

"Inclement and changeable weather is a fact of life for the winter months, but in my little aerie overlooking the sea I was cozy and content. With a longer stay that included days of spectacular sunshine and beautiful rainbows I was able to settle in inside a perfectly laid out apt with the ocean steps away. Well-equipped and cheerful decor, clean and comfortable. Hosts were gracious and responsive. Short walk to the harbor and one of the most dramatic outlooks at Berry Head, not to mention miles...
