"We got to the hotel and they had no electricity. It was no problem they have a sister property the Mayaland and had a room ready for us there at no additional cost. I have to say it was extraordinary and if we ever go back i would consider staying there again."

"Really beautiful place. You feel like you descended in a different world, in the middle of the forest ( Yucatán moist forest). It is more beautiful than I imagined when I booked it. The staff in the reception and restaurant, absolutely sweet."

"What a lovely lovely place, it really takes you back to old school colonial architecture and living. The hotel has developed a wonderful eco friendly hotel with a beautiful garden and pool that should be enjoyed. Food was wonderful and so nice to see that they produce as much of their own food as they can and where they’re unable to, they source from the local community. Our only comment would be that if you were staying for more than one night, the beds are small for 2 so as a family it’d be worth considering 2 rooms but it really didn’t detract from our stay. "
