Very cosy property. Stairs to room 9 were steep with not much room at the top of the landing for cases whilst trying to get the key in to unlock the door to our room. Some might really struggle with this.

Lovely warm welcome from staff at the hotel Perfect location within the village Plenty of choice for places to dine Only downside for hotel was there were several scuff marks on the walls of the hotel room which let them down otherwise perfect stay was had

A reasonably priced property that is quaint and central to the village. The room was tiny and smelled musty, especially the bathroom. There were also big cobwebs above the wardrobe. It was fine for one night and we had an excellent breakfast. If I was staying longer than one night I would pay for a better room. The communal rooms were lovely. We were able to keep the car in the car park for a few hours after checking out which was much appreciated. The staff was friendly, kind and helpful.

A gem of a hotel!
This is a true gem of a hotel! Its location in Bourton on the Water is right in the heart of town and what a beautiful town! We loved our room and the food was excellent. The staff were so friendly and efficient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Honeymoon stay
We had an amazing 3 night honeymoon stay at The Dial House. Our room was lovely, wonderful food plus great service while we stayed. Definitely book again.

Lovely comfortable room in the Attic. Very clean with a large comfortable double bed, window that opens and a large fan provided. Pretty decor and a good shower. Would be challenging for anyone with mobility issues.A little fridge would be a plus. Unusual bar in the backyard with a cool atmosphere and tasty snacks. A lovely old hotel and we would definitely return.

The room was pleasant, but the staff of Karl (Manager), always smiling and welcoming Kai, for his amazing cocktail knowledge and presentation, and Annie and Olivia were all amazing and eager to please. Maxi garden tent was super and loved it’s decoration. Breakfast was incredible and well portioned, so all in all nothing whatsoever to fault! The town was very busy, but lovely and the Dial house being set back from the main road was very well placed!

Perfect location, set back from main street. Staff friendly. We didnt eat there but had a couple of drinks at the end of the night. We stayed in a room in the coach house annex. Bedroom was fine but bathroom was very narrow. Water very hot, condensation was a bit of a problem.

Great location but overpriced
You can’t fault the location. However, it was definitely not worth the money (we paid £160 for one night with a blue light discount code). The bathroom was particularly grim with dirt. The bedroom was sweltering hot (in March) but you couldn’t open the window as it was ground floor and it felt unsafe to leave it open. Maxi’s was aesthetically pleasing however it certainly gives London food/drink prices a run for its money! Can’t say we’d recommend or return. Feels like it should cost around £50/£80 a night.

Lovely hotel for a short break
Hotel was right in the heart of Bourton. The room was nicely done out but lacked a usb port and a safe. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat there because we were attending a party so cannot comment on the food. Overall a very nice hotel.

A delightful hotel
We arrived early but were allowed to check in and were given a hand with our luggage and shown straight to our room. The room was clean and warm and freshly decorated. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our evening meal was very nice as were the breakfasts each day.

Good location. Needs a bit of tlc in bathroom
Great location in Bourton. Room was quite small. Bathroom needs a bit of an upgrade. Tile grouting discoloured and but of mould around shower. Wi fi very good & good breakfast. Staff were pleasant

Definitely a good spot for local exploring.
Staff really friendly, the shower wasn’t spotless but otherwise the room whilst small was perfectly comfortable for a 1 night stay. Excellent location and nice seating area outside. Breakfast was nice but could have been slightly more substantial. But I am greedy ;-)

Situated in lovely location. We had room in attic for which the water tank was above which you could hear during night. The television on wall didn’t work so a large one was put on table where tea and coffee was put but no room to make drinks as television took up whole table. Paint work needed touching up. Breakfast was good. Staff very nice.

Great hotel in the middle of the town.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Dial House. From check in to check out, everything runs smoothly and the staff are all very friendly. Hand sanitizer at the entrance, and mask on, we feel very safe there.

Most amazing stay at The Dial House. Accommodations were beyond what I expected , staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and location of hotel was amazing! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to have a quaint, lovely Cotswald experience. I hope to go back one day!

We stayed for one night in the coach house in room number 9. Everything about our stay was excellent. Fantastic location and really good attention to detail in everything from the toiletries in the bathroom to the French butter at breakfast. Breakfast was very good and the breakfast rooms were wonderful. I would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.

The property was in a great location so we could park up the car and leave it for the weekend and go everywhere on foot. The breakfast was busy but both days we were served quickly and the food was good quality. It would have been nice if food was available through the day. All in all a very nice stay in a historic property that was great value for money.
